The GogolTrain Cultural and Mobile Forum, which took place in 2021, was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence. The project took place in six different cities of Ukraine, bringing together activists from Kyiv, Kherson, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Lutsk, Poltava, Kharkiv, Odesa, and Mariupol. 
The GogolTrain project fully contributes to the development of social activities of various kinds through a cultural product at the interregional level. Arriving in a particular city for the festival, GogolTrain participants actively engage in the cultural life of the city, explore its context and history, and interact with local cultural and public figures, creating new cultural projects or potential for further partnership. Many of the GogolTrain participants discover a city for the first time, which develops interest in the region through cultural dialogue and artistic product, and improves the city's tourism potential. 
The implementation of the GogolTrain project in 2021 was made possible through the implementation of partner festival activities such as the StartUp Gogolfest, Dream Gogolfest, AirGogolfest, and DniPRO Gogolfest Contemporary Art Festival; Odesa International Film Festival; and the Respublika Music Festival. ck
